About the Porsche 911 Carrera GTS Cabriolet
The GTS sits above the Carrera and Carrera S but below the Turbo — a specific trim Porsche created for buyers who wanted more than “S” without stepping up to the Turbo’s price tag. Every 991.2-generation GTS comes standard with the Sport Chrono package (dashboard-mounted stopwatch, launch control, PSM Sport mode), PASM sport suspension that sits 10mm lower than the standard car, Sport Exhaust with center-mounted black tips, and blacked-out exterior trim including the model badging. It’s the driver’s 911.
Under the hood is a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged flat-six producing 450 horsepower and 405 lb-ft of torque, sent to the rear wheels through Porsche’s 7-speed PDK dual-clutch. Zero to 60 arrives in 3.7 seconds with launch control engaged. Top speed is 190 mph with the roof down (electronically limited). The Sport Exhaust is the audible signature — a deeper, more aggressive sound than the base Carrera, especially with the exhaust valves open in Sport Plus mode.
Our specific car adds two meaningful upgrades over stock. First, the HRE Performance Wheels — aftermarket forged 20-inch wheels in gloss black that replace the factory GTS wheels. HRE is one of the most respected aftermarket wheel manufacturers in the world; a set typically retails for $4,000-6,000. Second, the interior is finished in premium Luxor Beige leather rather than the standard black — a factory color option that creates a distinctive two-tone contrast with the Carrara White exterior. Together with the panoramic soft-top mechanism (opens fully in 13 seconds at up to 30 mph), it’s a specification that reads considered rather than default.
Perfect For
- Porsche enthusiasts who know the trims — the GTS badge means something specific to knowledgeable renters; this is the trim serious 911 buyers pick before considering the Turbo
- F1 Miami Grand Prix weekend at Hard Rock Stadium — Porsche’s motorsport heritage runs deep; the GTS Cabriolet with sport exhaust is a proper enthusiast pick for race weekend
- Ocean Drive and A1A sunset drives — the Cabriolet body with sport exhaust delivers the archetypal Miami convertible experience, but with proper 911 driving character rather than just cruising softness
- Photoshoots and content creation — Carrara White with Luxor Beige interior and gloss black HRE wheels is a distinctive color combination that photographs exceptionally well against Wynwood murals, Art Deco backdrops, or the Miami skyline at golden hour
- Special occasions and celebrations — birthdays, milestone events, proposals, or bachelor weekends where you want a car that’s genuinely quick, distinctive, and open to the sky
- Weekend cruising through Miami’s signature routes — Rickenbacker Causeway, MacArthur Causeway, and A1A up to Palm Beach reward a proper sports car in a way SUVs and sedans never can

Frequently Asked Questions
What’s the difference between Carrera, Carrera S, and Carrera GTS?
These are three trim levels of the same 911. The base Carrera has 370 hp. The Carrera S bumps it to 420 hp with a larger turbocharger. The Carrera GTS (which is what we rent) goes further to 450 hp AND adds Sport Chrono, PASM Sport Suspension, Sport Exhaust, and blacked-out exterior trim as standard equipment — items that cost thousands as options on lower trims. The GTS is Porsche’s “enthusiast” spec — meaningfully quicker and better-equipped than the S, at a substantial discount versus the Turbo.
What generation is your Porsche 911 GTS?
Our 911 Carrera GTS Cabriolet is the 991.2 generation (2017-2019 model years) with the 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged flat-six. This is the generation that first offered the GTS trim with turbocharging — combining the higher power output with the sharper GTS-specific suspension and exhaust tuning.
How does the GTS compare to your other Porsche 911 Cabriolet Black Edition?
Different trims of the same 911 platform. Our Porsche 911 Carrera Cabriolet Black Edition is the standard Carrera trim in a factory Black Edition appearance package — 370 hp, understated black-on-black spec. This GTS Cabriolet is the higher-performance trim — 450 hp, sport suspension, sport exhaust, HRE wheels, and Luxor Beige interior. Book the Black Edition for understated cruising ($599); book the GTS for enthusiast driving with more character ($399 — currently priced below the Black Edition despite being the higher trim).
Are the wheels stock or aftermarket?
Aftermarket. This GTS wears HRE Performance Wheels — 20-inch forged wheels in gloss black. HRE is one of the most respected aftermarket wheel manufacturers in the world; the wheels themselves typically retail for $4,000-6,000 as an add-on. They’re a genuine performance and appearance upgrade over the factory GTS wheels. The rest of the car is factory Porsche specification.
Can I drive the 911 GTS to the Florida Keys or Palm Beach?
Yes. Cross-state trips within Florida are welcome. Our standard rental includes 100 miles per day; additional miles beyond that are billed at $2/mile. The 911 is exceptionally comfortable on longer drives — the ride is well-damped despite the sport suspension, the PDK transmission handles highway cruising smoothly, and the convertible top makes A1A and the Overseas Highway genuinely memorable experiences.
What color is your Porsche 911 GTS Cabriolet?
Our 911 Carrera GTS Cabriolet is finished in Carrara White Metallic with Luxor Beige leather interior — a factory two-tone combination that creates strong visual contrast with the white exterior and the gloss black HRE wheels. Photos on this page show the actual vehicle you’ll receive at delivery.
Is the 911 GTS a good choice for two people or four?
Best for two people traveling together. The 911 has 2+2 seating — technically four seats — but the rear seats are small and only really suitable for children or extra luggage. Two adults fit comfortably in the front with the rear seats folded down for luggage. If you’re traveling with four adults or need real backseat space, consider our Bentley Bentayga or Audi Q8 instead.
What’s the minimum age to rent the Porsche 911 GTS?
Renters must be at least 25 years old, hold a valid driver’s license (any country accepted), and carry personal auto insurance with full coverage. A refundable security deposit is held at pickup. As a high-performance rear-wheel-drive sports car, the 911 GTS requires the higher age minimum for insurance reasons.
